For fast, safe and permanent vessel closure With TissueSeal PLUS COMFORT you are using an established technique for permanent vessel and tissue sealing: The LIGATION. Conventional electro-coagulation is unsuitable for blood vessels with a diameter of more than about 2 mm. To ensure haemostasis and to seal the vessels permanently, it is necessary to use bipolar methods or ligation. With the BOWA MEDICAL ligation instrument, large-lumen veins, arteries and tissue bundles with diameters of up to 7 mm are quickly, permanently and safely sealed, whereby elastin and collagen are bound to each other. The sealing of the blood-perfused vessel / tissue segment is done by this method using RF current with additional contact pressure. The LIGATION sealing technology guarantees residue-free and foreign-body-free interventions with reliable sealing.
