Assesses the melanin content of the skin, for aesthetic purposes. The Mini 2 is a device with an integrated 4-digit 7-segments LCD display and is powered by batteries. THE INSTRUMENT The Soft Mini-2 device employs reflection photometry to measure the melanin content of skin. Readings are rapid and user-friendly and are shown on the LCD display. The melanin content of skin varies according to the phototype and the time of exposure to UV rays. Readings using the Soft Mini-2 will range from 0 to 100. Values up to 10 are obtained on very light skin and 100 on very dark skin. Soft Mini-2 provides professionals with scientific and valuable support in measuring the melanin content of the skin for a variety of purposes. It also supports the validation of the effectiveness of products and treatment. The device provides an objective assessment of the result of treatment.
