Product Overview
CO2 is absorbed far faster than room air and is rapidly eliminated via the lungs. CO2 insufflation has been shown to shorten procedures, speed recovery and reduce patient discomfort. The ENDO STRATUS™ CO2 Insufflator is a carbon dioxide delivery system that connects to wall and tank sources and provides selectable flow rates (low, medium, high). When used with disposable ENDO SMARTCAP™ CO2 tubing and accessories, the system supports optimized GI endoscopic procedures.

How the ENDO STRATUS CO2 Insufflator Works
The device is designed to deliver CO2 as a distention medium within the gastrointestinal tract when used with a GI endoscope. It includes a CO2 warming function that allows delivery of CO2 warmed to a target temperature of 37°C. The clinician controls insufflation manually using the endoscope air/water valve and endoscopic visual feedback. The ENDO STRATUS™ CO2 Insufflator is compatible with major GI endoscopes.
