Description

Filter for Use in Hemodialysis Water and Concentrate Devices. The ENX Endotoxin Ultrafilter assists in preparing water or bicarbonate concentrate to meet the requirements for the production of ultrapure dialysate according to the ANSI/AAMI 11663 standard. The filter’s unique proprietary single-stage design removes bacteria, viruses, endotoxins and other contaminants greater than 0.005 micron (5 nanometers), and has an expected life of up to 6 months. Typical filter pressure drop is low (a few PSI). Air may accumulate in the capsule and may have to be periodically released. Replacement Frequency The filter should be replaced if the flowrate noticeably decreases or at least every 6 months. Cleaning/Disinfection Recommendations The filter should be disinfected whenever the RO or distribution system is disinfected. Disinfectant Compatibility Hot water The ENX™ Ultrafilter is compatible with hot water disinfection systems (regular hot water disinfection of up to 85°C). Peracetic acid based disinfectants
