Test procedure: 1.Collect first morning urine in a clean. dry. sterilized container. 2.Remove from the bottle only enough strips for immédiate use and replace cap tightly because strips are sensitive to moisture. 3.Completely immerse reagent areas of the strips in FRESH urine or place the dipstick in the urine stream as you are urinating. Be sure ail of the test pads are wet. 4.While removing. run the edge of the entire length of the strip against the rim of the urine container to remove excess urine. Hold the strip in a horizontal position to prevent possible mixing of Chemicals from adjacent reagent areas and/or contaminating the hands with urine. Blot the strip to remove excess urine by touching the edge to a paper towel. Do not drag the strip across the towel; touch the edge only. 5.Compare reagent areas to corresponding color chart on the bottle label at the time specified.
