For use with FUJIFILM Health Care C23/C23RV ultrasound transducers. CIVCO's BX2 Needle Guidance System utilizes a two-part system consisting of a custom disposable bracket and a disposable snap-on needle guide. This uniquely designed single-angle bracket offers clinicians two choices of angle for puncture by simply selecting one of two BX2 inserts. Easy-to-read angles on the guide make identifying in a darkened ultrasound suite simple. The BX2 needle guide incorporates flexibility and advanced features to increase productivity during ultrasound procedures such as tissue biopsy, fluid aspiration, catheter placement, and other treatment procedures. Once the proper angle is placed in position, users can select the appropriate gauge insert, choosing from 8.5FR, 14-23GA (19GA not available). The gauge insert features a large funnel for easy instrument insertion and a tab for quick-release function, allowing easy needle detachment from the transducer. Sterile procedure kits contain; BX2 needle guide, transducer cover, gel packet, and colored elastic bands. Accurate needle path with on-screen guidelines offer physicians real-time visualization ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure. Reduces technique variability providing a shorter learning curve and reduced procedure time. Repeatable, easy-to-use "quick-release" feature for detachment of guide provides physician flexibility during puncture procedures.
