Our Silicone Foam Bordered dressing has been designed to absorb high levels of wound exudate whilst offering maximum patient comfort. It’s an all-in-one dressing composed of five layers, the EdgeSeal Silicone interface has been designed for atraumatic removal, it’s 2mm perforations allow for free flow of exudate into the absorbent layers of the dressing which has a fluid handling capacity of 1.72g/cm2 *. The protective backing of the dressing is showerproof and acts as a bacterial barrier with a high Moisture Vapour Loss of 1.10g/cm2 *, its highly flexible with a smooth finish to help prevent sheer and friction. The EdgeSeal Technology creates an ultra slim profile whilst in contact with the surrounding skin which means you can expect to see less rucking and rolling of the edges whist creating a slimmer overall profile of the dressing itself.
