Description

¼’’ Thick Polypropylene body and fan module housing. ¼’’ Thick Clear AR Polycarbonate sash. Both materials are chemically resistant to most common corrosive agents. Additionally, AR Polycarbonate has a high abrasion and impact resistance. The sash consists of two hinged access shields that increase airspeed by restricting air flow. Portable hoods can be positioned on nearly any bench or work surfaces. 8” OD Polypropylene Duct Port. Optional upgrade to 10” OD duct port. HEPA filters are 99.99% efficient at removing 0.3μm or larger particles. Fan module 0 to 580 CFM (at 0” W.G. static pressure) Removable airfoil, located along the front bottom, prevents turbulence. The slotted openings along the back of the hood, a/k/a the rear baffle, maintain a uniform airflow. Options Swing Vane Manometer - Air Velocity Meter 2” ID Utility Port with Cover Epoxy powder coated steel stand with leveling mount. Available in 30'' and 35'' height with an optional upgrade to casters (including two locking). Externally mounted Fluorescent or LED Light. Recommended for increased visibility. Airflow alarm monitor with duct or side wall mounted sensor probe. Touchscreen airflow alarm monitor with duct or side wall mounted sensor probe. Filter upgrade to ultra-low particulate air (ULPA) filters that are 99.999% efficient at removing 0.12μm or larger particles.
