Our unique concave blade design, originally implemented on our Lipo-Abdominoplasty retractor, is utilized on our new breast retractor. This new retractor design allows the user to apply force in either a PUSH (reduction procedures) or PULL (augmentation procedures) motion. The concave blade is enhanced by horizontal deep “serrations” which enhance stability when lifting. The unique design continues to the handle, where our engi- neers implemented a large ovoid “geometry” design to improve grip strength. The handle is also the differentiating point between the two sizes. ADVANTAGES: 1. Excellent visual representation of the operating field due to the unique concave blade design. 2. Superb adaptation of the concave blade to the lateral thoracic wall, the axilla & to the convexity of the breast respectively. 3. The mobilized and moved tissue is held by the entire blade surface due to its curved shaped and “serrations”. 4. The impact on the vulnerable adipose tissue is notably reduced.
