Detailed description
The TB-800 balances include a removable glass draft shield with three doors for easy access and cleaning. Calibration is performed internally or externally using a calibration mass. The 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" color capacitive touch-screen displays a status bar, weighing result window, editable fields and a configurable toolbar. The area beneath the weight readout can be customized for user-defined functions. Two programmable infrared (IR) proximity sensors enable touch-free operation to minimize cross-contamination. Available working modes include weighing, parts counting, check weighing, dosing, percent weighing, density (solids and liquids), animal weighing, statistics, peak hold and formulations. Additional functions: adjustable filter levels, quick-access keys, tare, zero, auto switch-off and backlight timeout. Onboard databases store products, users, packaging, customers, formulations, formulation reports, ambient conditions and weighing records. User access controls limit adding, exporting, importing, deleting and printing saved data. RS-232, 2×USB-A (interchangeable), USB-B, Ethernet and Wi‑Fi provide external connections for GLP/GMP-compliant output. The autotest GLP function generates an enhanced balance summary to assist with operation assessment and error diagnosis.
