OverviewThe corpuls auryx is an ultralight, medically approved in-ear sensor and mobile patient monitoring solution that enables universal access to vital signs wherever patients are. Small size and low weight allow reliable monitoring of multiple patients simultaneously and in challenging situations. The system comprises the in-ear sensor, a dual charging case and the corpuls auryx app for smartphones and tablets.
TechnologyThe unique, medically approved in-ear sensor (approx. 8.6 g) measures multiple vital parameters and transmits data for remote viewing and assessment via integrated high-end software solutions. The solution provides reliable and effective monitoring in confined, remote or demanding environments.

corpuls auryx AppThe corpuls auryx app (Class IIb medical device) is the data-processing component of the monitoring solution. It can be installed on iOS and Android smartphones or tablets, receives data from auryx via a Bluetooth broadcasting interface and enables visualization, documentation and export of data captured by the sensor.
App features- Quality & perfusion index
- PPG curves (three-colour; pulse curve: ECG-like PPG signal)
- 3-axis accelerometer data
- Simple, automated data recording
- Numerical display of current measurements
- Connection status and battery level display
- Configurable notifications & alarms
- Class IIb medical device
Display features- Pulse curve: ECG-like PPG signal
- Numerical display of current measurements
- Trend display of previous measurements
- Notifications on system status and measurements with configurable alarm limits
- Connection status and battery level indicators
IntegrationIntegration with telemedicine platforms (e.g., corpuls.mission) enables combination of medical data, chat, video and documentation at the point of care. Integrating the auryx sensor into telemedical infrastructures expands monitoring possibilities, especially in remote, hostile or resource-limited environments.
Use cases- Mobile patient monitoring: from initial care and transport to telemedical support, triage and in-hospital monitoring
- Air & mountain rescue: capturing vital parameters in specialist rescue missions and confined/complex environments; configurable notifications for rapid detection of condition changes
- Specialist rescue & challenging missions: monitoring where conventional sensors are impractical (confined, remote or hard-to-reach areas)
- Special forces & military: compact and lightweight for carrying multiple units, monitoring multiple patients, and reliable measurements when distal circulation or limb injuries limit finger-based measurements
OutlookConnection to corpuls 3 is under development. Future pairing will enable the corpuls 3 to receive oxygen saturation, heart rate and body temperature from the auryx sensor, expanding monitoring options when conventional sensors cannot be used and ensuring body temperature monitoring even in hypothermia without invasive probes.
