OverviewThe Multi Derma System MDS 3000 is a modular diagnostic platform for professional skin and scalp assessment. It combines multi-sensor probes, specialist test films and a high-resolution Visioscope® PC 35 camera with an intuitive tablet interface for objective measurement, imaging and documentation suitable for clinical and aesthetic consultations.
Main functions- Skin moisture measurement: rapid capacitance-based readings for face and body with categorical results (e.g. very dry, dry, adequately hydrated).
- Sebum analysis: photometric sebum measurement inside/outside T-zone and on hair/scalp; result categories (low, balanced, oily).
- Elasticity & "true skin age": Elasto probe using suction method with integrated pump for repeatable elasticity readings.
- Melanin / pigment and redness: quantitative melanin and erythema assessment; automatic SPF recommendation.
- Visioscope® PC 35 skin camera: parallel and cross-polarized illumination to visualise surface texture, pigmentation and vascular patterns; image capture and automated analyses (wrinkles, pores, spots).
- Quantitative analysis with test films: Sebufix® and Corneofix® films used in dispenser systems for visual and numeric evaluation.
- Optional integrations: TEWL (EWL), pH probe, UV-specialised Visiopor® camera for porphyrin fluorescence; components auto-detected and integrated.
System & operationThe MDS 3000 uses a wireless Android tablet as the user interface connected via built-in Wi‑Fi. The tablet pairs automatically with the main unit and displays measurements and images on an intuitive touchscreen. Tablet charging is provided by the main unit. External displays (TV, smartphone) can be connected wirelessly. The tablet supports portrait and landscape use.
Imaging & analysis- Parallel-polarised light: visualises surface texture.
- Cross-polarised light: reveals deeper structures (pigmentation, vascularity).
- Software analyses: objective, software-based evaluation of wrinkles, pores and spots for clinical consultation.
- Special films: Sebufix® F16 (sebum) and Corneofix® F20 (desquamation) for combined qualitative/quantitative assessments.
Optional & promotional useThe compact and mobile design with detachable tablet makes the system suitable for point-of-sale demonstrations and promotional events. It supports personalised product recommendations based on measurements and images.
