Product overviewThe Cryo XC™ Plus is a non-medical whole-body cryotherapy chamber engineered to expose users to very low vapor temperatures for short sessions. The system creates a cold vapor vortex around the user to deliver rapid, controlled cold exposure comparable to ice-bath protocols but with low ambient vapor temperatures.
How it worksThe unit uses liquid nitrogen (LN2) as coolant, producing cold vapors introduced into the cabin. Sessions are brief and the system controls vapor concentration, temperature and exposure time to ensure repeatable conditions.
Key features- Recommended operating temperature range: -110°C to -140°C (-170°F to -200°F).
- Extended capability (maximum, under specific conditions): down to -160°C (-240°F).
- Supports thermal contrast protocols for enhanced thermal shock response.
- Active drying system with heating elements to accelerate client drying after sessions.
- Multimedia information screen and operator touchscreen for session control and guidance.
- Session tracking and remote diagnostics for logging and technical support.
UsersDesigned for use by amateur and professional athletes, sports organizations, wellness and recovery centers, physiotherapists, fitness facilities, beauty and recovery clinics, and private high-end wellness users seeking cryotherapy exposure.
Safety featuresMultiple safety and monitoring systems protect the client and support the operator: forced ventilation/exhaust, pressure monitoring (on pressurized systems), humidity tracking, optional oxygen monitoring, remote diagnostics, and emergency stop and door/presence sensors where fitted. In-operation monitoring tracks cabin and system conditions for safe operation.
Systems (Supply Options)- Pressurized system: designed for high-capacity locations; uses pressurized nitrogen tanks and vessels (tanks not included).
- Non-pressurized system: uses non-pressurized dewars; includes two 50 L vessels. Suited to smaller facilities, spas, startups and private use.
Customization & InstallationOptions include interior/exterior color and branding finishes, configurable cabin orientation (left/right/custom), simplified assembly and a dual-door cabin variant. Installation requires sufficient floor footprint, active ventilation/extraction and a regular LN2 supply. Detailed room footprint and ventilation depend on the chosen supply system and local regulations.
