This computer is used in conjunction with the Programming Wand to both interrogate the Pulse Generator and also modify various simulation parameters. VNS Therapy Programming Software, the VNS Therapy Computer and the Programming Wand are all useful in the storing and retrieving of telemetry data from the Pulse Generator. Model 250 Programming Software lets doctors use the Program Wand to both read and change the settings on the Pulse Generator. The Programming Wand also allows the digital output to be converted formats between the VNS Pulse Generator and the VNS Therapy Computer. The hand-held Programming Wand is only meant to be used with the VNS Therapy System.
