3.5 mm Low Profile Pelvic System The 3.5 mm Low Profile Pelvic Plates are stainless steel with a uniform cross section and low profile design to improve contourability and reduce soft tissue irritation.Plates available in a variety of precontoured shapes Low-profile plate improves contourability for easy intraoperative bending, when necessary Improved screw angulation Variety of precontoured shapes to reduce intraoperative contouring Indication Statement The Synthes 3.5 mm Low Profile Reconstruction Plate is intended for: • Pelvic and acetabular reconstructive surgery • Fracture fixation of the distal humerus • Fracture fixation of the clavicle • Fracture fixation of the scapula Intended Use ln-situ bending instruments adjust the precontoured, reconstruction plates on the bone to match relevant patient anatomy during a surgical procedure. Use of these instruments helps to decrease surgical time by reducing the need of repeated cycles of plate positioning and removal until plate shape is sufficiently contoured. The in-situ bending instruments are indented for use in the following plate systems: -3.5 mm Low Profile Reconstruction Plates (straight, curved and J-shape) -3.5 mm Wide Angle Reconstruction Plates -3.5 mm DCP Reconstruction Plates, straight and curved These instruments are not intended for plates with locking and coaxial Combi holes. In particular: -3.5 mm Locking Reconstruction Plates -3.5 mm Pubic Symphysis Plates -3.5 mm Spring Plates -3.5 mm Locking Reconstruction Plates with coaxial Combi holes -Plates in sizes other than 3.5 mm
