The Duo-2 is a new and enhanced, highly adjustable specialist seating system, for higher dependency users with complex postural management and pressure care needs. Many seating configurations ensure head to toe postural asymmetries can be fully stabilised due to many adjustable functionalities, providing clinicians with maximum adaptability to optimise pressure, function and comfort for users in all environments. The Duo-2 Major is also available with regulated motion as standard, enabling the chair to automatically move through the tilt positions and has a ‘lock-out’ function on the ergonomic handset. Pressure relief can be integrated into the Duo-2 using the Dyna-Tek® Intelligent Air cushion for those who are at Very High Risk or with a Category 4 pressure ulcer. Alternatively, the Duo-2 enables the user to integrate their own pressure relieving cushion into the seat module of the chair or apply it to a flat seat board upon which it can be effectively used.
