The D900 Series Grade 1 heavy-duty mortise deadbolts provide a reasonably priced mortise locking solutions for doors like restrooms, locker rooms, and store room doors. The D900 can be used as a primary locking device or as an accessory to another latching device. These locksets are built with a heavy-duty chassis for all applications where ANSI/BHMA A156.36 Grade 1 products are required. Thumb turns and finishes complement the DORMA M9000 mortise lock offering. The D900 is a small case mortise dead bolt for use in heavy duty commercial environments such as schools, hospitals, and office buildings. Typical applications are storage room doors, locker room doors, rest room doors, or any application where latching is not required. The D900 can be used as a primary lock, or as an auxiliary lock. Technical Details • Standard door thickness 1-3/4"–2-1/4" thicker doors by special request. • 2-3/4" backset. • 1-1/8" × 5-9/16" faceplate. • 1-1/8" × 3-1/2" no lip dead bolt strike. • 1" throw, stainless steel bolt. • Non-handed (field reversible). Certifications • ANSI/BHMA A156.36 Grade 1 certified. • UL listed 3 hour fire rated. Locks are listed for A label and lesser class doors. • Fire rated by itself or as auxiliary latching device
