The G240 Ethernet interface board is a 5-speed (100/1000BASE-TX/2.5/5/10GBASE-TX) rugged single Eurocard CompactPCI Serial peripheral board. It can be used in combination with a CompactPCI Serial CPU board in a 19" CompactPCI Serial system. It provides two 10 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces at the front panel which can be accessed on two M12 X-coded or RJ45 connectors making it especially suited for applications in harsh environments. The interfaces are controlled by two 10G Ethernet controllers which support IEEE1588v2/PtP Timing Protocols, AVB and TSN. Each interface supports a data transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s. Designed for Railway Applications The G240 is designed for the extended operating temperature and prepared for conformal coating for use in harsh and mobile environments, in particular for rolling stock applications.
