Description

(U)HP Series - Pioneering ultra-high purity nitrogen solutions for high-end applications Pure and precise - developed for your analyses - Designed for laboratories with a nitrogen requirement of up to 2 l/min - Uses advanced PSA technology and achieves a nitrogen purity of 99.9995% - Integrated two-stage coalescence: particle filtration and activated carbon filter for maximum purity - Optional function: removal of hydrocarbons to less than 0.05 ppm Hydrocarbon-free nitrogen is important for improving gas quality, especially in GC analysis. The optional hydrocarbon separator ensures highly pure output gas (99.9999% or 6.0 grade) with a residual moisture content of <0.05 ppm, ensuring reliable analysis. Impurities in gases can significantly affect the quality of GC results, leading to background noise, altered peak shapes, false positives, or poorer consumption efficiency. The optional hydrocarbon separator actively counteracts these issues. Nitrogen generators with PSA technology for your analytical applications With the (U)HP1 and (U)HP2 versions, Dürr Technik expands its range of nitrogen generators for analytical applications requiring ultra-high purity gas. These models are ideal for laboratories with a central compressed air supply or a source of clean high-pressure air (e.g., a Dürr Technik compressor station). Thanks to their compact dimensions, Chromalytic nitrogen generators can be installed under the workbench to save space. PSA technology is the ideal method for high purity levels and is used in the (U)HP1 and (U)HP2 models. Efficient nitrogen separation ensures a reduced total air requirement and guarantees the production of high-purity nitrogen. Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) separates nitrogen molecules from oxygen molecules by adsorbing the oxygen from the compressed air flow. Lower real operating costs and a reduced carbon footprint make Chromalytic nitrogen generators the ideal solution for your laboratory. - High-quality components for outstanding reliability - Best in class for operating costs - Reliable N2 generation for critical applications - Compact, space-saving design - Designed for easy maintenance - Connection of several units for redundancy or capacity - Optimized for modern LC-MS systems - Simple plug-and-play installation Ideally suited for the following applications: - Gas chromatography (GC/GC-MS) - Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) - Elemental analyzer Technical data - Max. volume flow (HP1A and UHP1A): up to 1 l/min - Max. volume flow (HP2A and UHP2A): up to 2 l/min - Hydrocarbon content * (optional): <0.05 ppm - Purity: up to 99.9995% - Nominal pressure: 7 bar - Typical dew point: -40°C - Ambient conditions: +5 to +35°C - Noise level with PN: 55 dB(A) at 1m - Nominal voltage: 120/230 V AC - Rated frequency (HF30N, HF60N): 50/60 Hz - Rated power: 1.0 kW - Protection class: IP54 - Weight: 45 kg - Dimensions (L x W x H): 450 x 540 x 640 mm * UHP models only - Model range also includes ultra-high purity nitrogen generators with integrated quiet compressor: (U)HP1A and (U)HP2A (see related product) Key features: - Ultra-high purity nitrogen generation (up to 99.9995%) - PSA technology for high purity and efficiency - Optional hydrocarbon removal to <0.05 ppm - Compact, under-bench installation - Low noise operation (55 dB(A) at 1m) - Easy maintenance and modular expandability Specifications summary: - Max. flow: 1–2 l/min (depending on model) - Purity: up to 99.9995% - Nominal pressure: 7 bar - Dew point: -40°C - Voltage: 120/230 V AC - Power: 1.0 kW - Weight: 45 kg - Dimensions: 450 x 540 x 640 mm
