Nephroscopy is an endoscopic procedure that allows to explore renal cavities. Is is practiced in the case of percutaneous surgery using a nephroscope, a metal tube of approximately 1,5 cm diameter, equipped with an optical system. Instrument is introduced into the renal cavities through the renal tissue, passing through a small skin incision corresponding to the kidney to be trated.
