For maximum safety against gamma and neutron radiation, as well as X-rays, Ensolma door systems are the top choice for the most strict radiation protection requirements. They comply, among other standards, with DIN 6834-1:2012 for radiation protection doors. Our specialists with years of expertise develop and manufacture tailor-made solutions precisely adapted to your requirements.
Ensolma radiation door systems are operated using our pioneering own developed the Ensolma Pneumatic Actuator ePA. Thanks to this unique system, Ensolma door systems remain fully functional even during temporary power failure.
Depending on the weight of the door leaf either hanging or floor-guided sliding door systems available. To ensure all-round radiation protection hanging doors are equipped with an automatically raised and dropped radiation shielding threshold. In the standard version of the floor-guided sliding door systems, the door leaf size ensures overlap with the wall by 100 mm along the contour. The protective material of the door leaf is buried in the floor by 80 mm. The floor channel with a width of up to 300 mm formed in the floor is covered by the automatically folding floor. When the door is closed, the folding floor moves into the end pocket of the door leaf and, conversely, when the door is opened, it is removed from it and placed at floor level.
For the safe operation of the door, it is important that the folding floor remains stationary in the open part of the opening while the door leaf moves. The folding floor is designed to carry gurneys weighing up to 200 kg.
