OverviewThe TriSect rapide® is a fast tripolar dissector designed to optimize the balance between dissection speed, thermal impact and sealing. It cuts electrically (tripolar technology) instead of using a blade or ultrasound, enabling quick cutting without becoming hot like an ultrasonic device.
Key benefits- Faster dissection with reduced thermal impact — operate with lower thermal spread compared with ultrasonic devices.
- True single-step workflow — grasp, seal* and dissect vessels and tissue bundles in one continuous workflow.
- Sharp and blunt dissection plus cavitation — innovative jaw design allows precise sharp dissection or blunt dissection as required.
- Variable hemostasis options — spot coagulation, diffuse bleeding control and tissue-bundle control; softCOAG bipolar mode provides powerful initial coagulation for immediate hemostasis.
Performance & safety- Vessel sealing capability up to 5 mm.
- Lateral thermal spread < 1 mm — enables operation close to critical structures.
- Jaw cools down approximately 2.5× faster than an ultrasonic device after a single dissect-and-seal activation.
Unique tripolar technologyThe tripolar dissector uses three electrodes during sharp dissection and two electrodes during coagulation. The fast tripolar electrical cutting provides cutting without the prolonged heating characteristic of ultrasonic instruments.
Clinical feedback / Evidence- High user satisfaction reported in interviews: for example, 96% of interviewed ultrasonic device users were satisfied with the performance of TriSect rapide®.
- Multiple clinical application and procedure videos demonstrate the device in laparoscopic and open procedures (sigmoidectomy, hemicolectomy, hysterectomy, adhesiolysis, donor nephrectomy, living donor nephrectomy, etc.).
Multimedia & supporting material- E‑flyer available summarizing product features and clinical information.
- Multiple clinical application videos and an animation illustrate use-cases and surgical workflow.
