The converter can replace a high pressure cylinder installation on a helicopter and mount in the same envelope. When space is not available, this unit can also be installed on the outside of the aircraft. The 7 Liter LOX Converter supplies up to 6,020 gaseous liters of oxygen at 75 to 120 psig. Weighing 21 pounds empty and 39 pounds when full, the converter has one quick disconnect port for the external heat exchanger, valves and plumbing, as well as one quick disconnect for the external LOX quantity gauge.
