Description

The process of flowing air in and outwards of the alveoli is described as ventilation. This process has two stages: inspiration or inhalation and expiration or exhalation. To continue this process, the thorax moves and changes its size completely. This happens for the action of two sets of muscles: the intercostal muscles and the diaphragm. The Expand-A-Lung® Breathing Resistance Exerciser is a device which is designed to strengthen these muscles in order to aid people to breathe deeper, simpler and better. The Expand-A-Lung® Breathing Trainer provides two very important benefits to improve your breathing through the simple exercise of inhaling and exhaling with resistance. 1) Immediately opens the airways into your lungs that have been partially obstructed over the years, due to natural aging, pollution, poor physical condition, and smoking (if applicable). 2) Targets and strengthens the respiratory muscles (the diaphragm and intercostals) to help you inhale more volume of air /oxygen into your lungs, by getting rid of the trapped air out of your lungs. The end result is deeper, easier and better breathing (100% Drug-Free).
