The CRETEM WAP-224FS is a large-format automated system designed for the preparation and packaging of medication in personalised dosing systems (SPD). Equipped with 224 cassettes, it automates the selection and dispensing of a wide variety of medicines, improving efficiency, traceability and safety throughout the preparation process.
The system incorporates 5 FSP modules and a manual dispensing unit (MDU) with 24 cells, intended for those medicines that require manual addition to the process. This configuration allows the system to handle a selection of around 260 different medicines, offering a flexible solution for managing complex treatments and adapting to the specific needs of each patient.
Thanks to its high capacity, the WAP-224FS can serve approximately 200 patients on standardised drug regimens (SPD) per month, making it particularly suitable for pharmacies, compounding centres and pharmaceutical services with high production volumes. Its automation helps to reduce manual tasks, optimise working times and minimise the risk of errors in medication preparation.
