Overview
The Motion Control (MC) Hand is a prosthetic terminal device designed for durability and functional performance. Available in three sizes, it features CNC-machined fingers in aluminum or stainless steel, a wide aperture, and a built-in manual safety release. A brushless DC motor provides high durability, higher speed, smoother and quieter operation, and improved control. The MC Hand is compatible with Utah Arm, Motion Arm and ProControl 2 systems and is largely interchangeable with other industry systems. Two configurations are offered: Motor Direct (motor-only; requires an external controller) and ProPlus (controller integrated within the hand). Force Limiting Autograsp (FLAG) for regulated pinch force is available as an option. The hand accepts most high-quality cosmetic gloves. This listing is for an MC Hand configured for direct lamination for wrist disarticulation patients (no wrist included).
