Brampton, ON – Flight Dental Systems is proud to announce that we will make available to the Dental Industry an exciting new product, which further broadens their line of Dental Handpieces. The EM-9001 Tabletop and EMB-9002 Built-In Version of their Electric Handpiece can provide the power and flexibility required for today’s dental practice. Enjoy the light weight and smooth 3.4 Newtons of torque produced by these new state-of-the-art brushless electric micro-motors. The control panel offers the operator two programmable memory positions, forward and reverse features as well as presets for 16:1, 1:1, and 1:5 attachment ratios. Flight Dental’s Electric Motor has built in Light Emitting Diodes (LED) which provides brilliant illumination of the oral cavity. This electric motor produces powerful low-end torque and can rotate up to 40,000 RPM. One of the largest benefits realized by Handpieces driven by Electric Motors is that they produce less aerosols as compared to air turbines. With concerns of increased contamination of the working environment through airborne water droplets which carry viruses choosing a Flight Dental Electric Motor is the obvious choice. Benefits Consistent Torque and controllable Speed Less Aerosol Production from Handpiece (No Aerosolized Water molecules) Better Cutting for Crowns Replaces both High and Low Speed Handpieces Can be used for Restorative or Prophylaxis Lower Noise Higher Concentricity – Better Cutting Margins
