AI Scoring with Heatmap FotoFinder Artificial Intelligence (AI) classifies a skin lesion with an AI Score on a color scale. After requesting the score, a so-called heatmap can also be displayed for the lesion in Moleanalyzer pro (online version). The heatmap uses different colors to visualize which areas of the lesion were decisive for the calculation of the AI Score. “Hot” image pixels, which are most crucial for the resulting AI Score, are displayed in red colors. Pixels that are less important for the AI Score and therefore “cold” pixels are shown in blue colors. The heatmap view helps to understand how the AI arrives at its score and whether possible confounding factors in the image affect the result.
