Description

Overview
The ProMill series are fluid jet mills designed for continuous production and high-throughput micronizing, starting from small pilot quantities up to large production batches. They feature low process gas consumption, rapid product changeover and are optimized for efficient particle size reduction in industrial processes.

Design and compliance
All product-contact connections are designed for cGMP compliance to facilitate assembly, disassembly, cleaning and validation. Component count is minimized to speed handling and maintenance. ProMill mills can be integrated into isolators for processing sterile, toxic or radioactive materials. Standard options include volumetric or gravimetric feeders, cloth bag separation filters, manual control panel and CFR21 Part11 compliant data recording. ATEX configurations and special materials (PTFE or ceramic inserts/coatings, Hastelloy) are available on request.

  • ProMill-8: Production-scale unit, milling chamber 8 inch — micronizing from 500 g up to 80 kg/h.
  • ProMill-12: Production-scale unit, milling chamber 12 inch — up to 200 kg/h.
  • ProMill-16: Production-scale unit, milling chamber 16 inch — typical batch sizes 20 kg to 5 000 kg; up to 400 kg/h.
  • ProMill-20: Largest milling chamber in the series (20 inch) — highest throughput, up to 800 kg/h.
