Q-Max® with PVDF (Polyvinylidene Diflouride) membranes are supplied in two dismetres and in two pore sizes. - 13 mm and 25 mm with 0.22 and 0.45 µm membranes. This type of PVDF is hydrophobic and can’t be used for filtration of aqueous liquids. Good solvent resistance and therefore well suited for filtration of samples prior to HPLC.
