Description

For early mobilisation, activation and training Extra-high level of hygiene Lifting capacity of up to 205 kg Single-patient walking sling – for early mobilisation, activation and training The Disposable Gait Trainer is a single-patient walking sling for people with sufficient leg strength to stand upright, but who have difficulty balancing. The sling supports the hip area, while the leg straps provide security and a fall prevention feature. This walking sling is ideal for the early mobilisation of the patient and provides confidence and safety for both user and carer in balance training situations: sitting on the edge of the bed, standing up or walking. The Disposable Gait Trainer is ideal for situations in which an extra-high level of hygiene is required, due to an elevated risk of contagion and infection. The sling is made of polyester material and intended for single-patient use only. Dispose of the sling after the patient has been discharged, or immediately after use if it has become wet and/or soiled. It must NOT be washed. The sling has a do-not-wash indicator tag. The Disposable Gait Trainer is delivered in boxes of five and is available in size S-XXL. The Gait Trainer can be used with all Guldmann ceiling hoists. Choosing and utilising the appropriate sling is essential for efficient transfers to ensure safety, comfort and dignity for the user and care provider. For more information about how to choose the correct sling and size, please refer to the Guldmann Sling Guide and size guide below.
