Description

Product overview
my-mask® is a portable, lightweight eye mask that delivers photobiomodulation using Red Light Modulation™ LM™ LLLT to support management of anterior segment conditions. It features Espansione's industrial design and provides clinicians and patients with a non-invasive, near-infrared therapy suitable for clinical or supervised home use.

Key benefits
  • CONVENIENT: Lightweight, portable design enabling comfortable patient use and self-administration.
  • COMPLETE + DIRECT TREATMENT: Covers both upper and lower eyelids to maximize ocular surface exposure and therapeutic effect for Dry Eye Disease (DED) related to Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) and other conditions.
  • TOTALLY NON-INVASIVE: Delivers medically certified near-infrared wavelengths transcutaneously; therapy requires no invasive procedure.
  • QUICK + EASY: Typical session duration ~15 minutes; immediate symptom relief reported by patients.

About LM™ LLLT (photobiomodulation)
Patented photobiomodulation technology engineered and certified for medical applications. Near-infrared light stimulates mitochondrial activity, inducing biochemical and biophysical responses that support cellular protein synthesis. Endogenous heating increases ATP production, contributing to stabilization and improvement of the tear lipid layer.

Intended indications
  • Management of anterior segment ocular conditions.
  • Treatment of Dry Eye Disease (DED) secondary to Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD).
  • Improvement of tear lipid layer and overall ocular surface health via photobiomodulation.

Use & administration
The lightweight mask and separate device body are designed for patient comfort. Suitable for clinical settings and supervised home-based therapy. Single treatment sessions are approximately 15 minutes and are non-invasive.

Technical specifications
  • Technology: Red Light Modulation™ LM™ LLLT (photobiomodulation).
  • Light type: Near-infrared light at medically certified wavelength(s).
  • Treatment mode: Non-invasive transcutaneous emission on eyelid skin.
  • Coverage: Designed to treat both upper and lower eyelids for full ocular surface exposure.
  • Treatment duration: Typical session ~15 minutes.
  • Form factor: Extremely lightweight, portable mask with separate device body and mask terminal; designed for patient comfort and home use.
  • Primary clinical targets: Dry Eye Disease (DED) induced by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) and other anterior segment/ocular surface conditions.
  • Physiological effect: Endogenous heating and stimulation of cellular ATP production; increase and stabilization of tear lipid layer.
