The LabElite DeFroster is an innovative new product that quickly removes frost that may obscure 2D barcodes on sample racks. The DeFroster cleans sample racks using mechanical brushes and defrosting/de-icing solvent. It has a compact footprint and can be used on a benchtop or mobile cart, allowing users to process labware at a centralized location or transfer the product between labs while running on battery power. Thanks to the device's revolutionary hands-free design, users will not have to handle harsh liquids during the defrosting process. Additionally, the DeFroster's touchscreen allows for simplified ease-of-use and customized user settings.
