The Typhoid Rapid Test Cassette is a chromatographic immunoassay for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of IgG and IgM antibodies against Salmonella typhi in human whole blood, serum or plasma. It is intended as a screening aid in the diagnosis of S. typhi infection. Reactive results should be confirmed by an alternative laboratory method.
