Overview
The HEINE DELTA 30 UV Dermatoscope combines ultraviolet, polarised and non-polarised illumination in a single handheld device to expand visible contrast and reveal structural details for clinical examination. A toggle function allows switching between UV, polarised and non-polarised light at the push of a button. The instrument supports recognition of polarisation-based signs (e.g. "Blink Sign") and identification of fluorescence patterns under UV illumination.

Optics & UV
Achromatic optics provide an ultra-sharp image. The 32 mm lens combined with 10× magnification yields a true 30 mm diameter field of view. UV illumination (typically 365 nm) is produced by multiple UV LEDs (12 LEDs for uniform illumination) and used with specialised optical filters to visualise fluorescence and structures not visible under standard lighting.
