Description

The innovative HemoCue® Hb 801 provides ease of use and enables workflow efficiency with connectivity options that deliver fast results at the time of care. With lab-quality results in less than 1 second, you can maximize time with your patients. Key benefits With the introduction of the HemoCue® Hb 801 System, we are taking Hb point-of-care testing to a new level. Designed with your needs in mind, the system provides quick and easy access to lab-quality results without compromising accuracy, even in demanding climates with high temperatures and humidity. 01 Lab-accurate results in less than 1 second 02 Large display and intuitive symbols instead of error codes 03 Unique “Let-go-grip” – insert and let go directly 04 Flexible connectivity options using Bluetooth or USB cable 05 Reagent-free cuvettes improve open vial stability 06 Larger microcuvette makes it easier to handle System specifications Principle The HemoCue® Hb 801 System consists of an analyzer together with microcuvettes. Blood is drawn into the microcuvette cavity by capillary action. The measurement takes place in the analyzer, which measures the absorbance of whole blood at an Hb/HbO2 isosbestic point Calibration Calibrated against the hemiglobincyanide (HiCN) method, the international reference method recommended by the ICSH, for the determination of the hemoglobin concentration in blood. The system is factory calibrated and needs no further calibration Storage temperature Analyzer: 0-50°C (32-122°F) Microcuvettes: 10-40°C (50-104°F) Opened or unopened microcuvettes can be stored for a shorter period (6 weeks) between -18-50°C (0-122°F) Operating temperature 10-40°C (50-104°F)
