Product description
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is a non-invasive neuromodulation technique used to manage pain. The device generates a balanced bidirectional waveform with an adjustable frequency range (typically 1–150 Hz) and pulse width (0.04–0.5 ms). A microcontroller regulates the boost and stimulation circuits to deliver prescribed waveforms to self-adhesive electrode pads placed on the skin, producing targeted electrical stimulation to the treatment area.

Many migraine attacks involve activation of branches of the trigeminal nerve. When self-adhesive electrodes are applied to the forehead, the device delivers low‑intensity electrical pulses to trigeminal branches (for example the supraorbital nerve), which can reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine episodes. Clinical reports indicate that TENS may abort migraine attacks within 60 minutes and that daily preventive use (20 minutes per day for 60 days) can reduce attack frequency and severity.
