In detail
The HERZmed Splint universal splints are intended for first aid use to quickly immobilize and stabilize various fractures and other trauma such as dislocations and sprains. All splints are waterproof to protect underlying dressings or casts. To avoid removing dressings for radiological assessment, the splints are made of radiolucent material. The very light, soft plastic covering minimizes weight on the patient and reduces strain on medical personnel. The material can be cut and shaped individually to fit the injury. The product label is translated into several languages: DE, EN, CS, FR and ES. Printed illustrations on the splint show different application examples.

The high-quality HERZmed universal splints can be configured for various injury patterns. Using a standard bandage scissor, the splint can be cut to the desired shape and size and then formed to fit. The printed illustrations provide guidance and assist lay responders with possible shaping options.
