T-Pot™ Temperature Control Bath for Single-Jacket Reactors
Using the T-Pot™ temperature control system a reactor change for such as cleaning purposes becomes child's play. Even if a reactor occasionally can no longer be cleaned, this is no great problem, because very inexpensive single-jacket reactors may be put to use.
The temperature control system is electrically heated and cooled with tap water. The special control system ensures that either electrical energy or cooling water is used and that therefore no energy is lost. In order to improve the heat transfer a bubbling system, for which a patent has been applied, is used which at the same time has a gentler effect on the heat transfer medium.
Water may be used as a heat transfer medium up to 90 °C, over 90 °C various silicone oils or special heat transfer fluids are suitable.
