The wall-mounted MRI metal detector HO-M12 guards the entrance to the MRI examination room, providing precise and reliable detection of medium to large ferromagnetic threats. It helps prevent serious injury to patients and staff and protects MRI equipment from damage.

• Voice alarm that shouts "DANGER, STOP PLEASE" when a potentially lethal object approaches the MRI machine.

Status indicators

• GREEN – Go: LED illuminated around the MRI entrance indicates the detector is scanning and no ferromagnetic threats detected.
• YELLOW – Warning: beacon light indicates that a threat is approaching the portal.
• RED – STOP!: RED LED flashes to indicate a major threat such as a magnetic phone, belt, keys, magnetic wheelchair, ventilator or oxygen cylinder approaching the portal.
• The greater the threat, the earlier the pre-warning is activated.
• Ferrous objects that are not approaching the MRI entrance do not trigger an audible warning; an object is not considered a threat until it attempts to enter the magnet room.
