Overview
HugeMed Single-use Ureteral Access Sheath is a disposable device intended for use with a ureteroscope (URS) during retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS). It creates a flexible, stable pathway in complex urinary anatomy to facilitate repeated instrument insertion. Clinically, it broadens indications, improves single-session stone-free rate (SFR), shortens operative time, reduces intrarenal pressure and temperature, and enhances visualization and irrigation efficiency.

Slimmer for Smoother Access
Specifications: available in working lengths of 40, 45, 50 and 55 cm and diameter options 8.5/10.5, 9/11, 10/12, 11/13 and 12/14 Fr, offering 20 flexible combinations that cover ultra-slim access through to general negative-pressure aspiration applications.

Clinical recommendations
For conventional non-suction UAS, the recommended safety rule is RESD ≤ 0.75. With active suction improving outflow and intrarenal pressure control, this Single-use Ureteral Access Sheath supports use up to RESD ≤ 0.85. Notably, the combination of HugeMed's 6.3/3.6Fr URS and the 8.5/10.5Fr Single-use Ureteral Access Sheath achieves RESD = 0.741, forming a Slim Combo that increases access success and reaches narrower, deeper calyces for challenging stones.
