Product Overview
A Foley catheter is a medical device for bladder drainage. It is a flexible tube inserted via the urethra into the bladder and retained by an inflatable balloon. Latex Foley catheters are manufactured from natural latex rubber and offer flexibility and cost-effectiveness. Note: latex can cause allergic reactions in sensitised patients (skin irritation, itching, systemic symptoms).

Applications and Uses

• Continuous bladder drainage for urinary retention.
• Monitoring urine output in critical care and other settings to assess renal function and fluid balance.
• Bladder irrigation to remove clots or debris and to maintain bladder patency after surgery or during urological procedures.
