Description

The equipment Sonopulse III is equipment microcontrolled by therapeutic ultrasound designed for esthetic and physical rehabilitation treatments. It presents an ERA (Effective Radiation Area) of 7cm², allowing the selection of frequency of 1 MHz or 3 MHz with the ERA of 7cm². The maximum power output of the ultrasound is 21 W for the ERA of 7 cm2 therefore, the maximum power is of 3 W/cm². The ultrasound emission mode can be adjusted in continuous or pulsed, the pulsed mode with pulse repetition frequency of 100 Hz, 48 Hz or 16 Hz and pulse ratio of ½ (50%) and of 1/5 (20%). The equipment presents frequencies of 1MHz and of 3MHz, inlet for combined therapy, 46 pre-programmed protocols and 20 private protocols, Blue Light LCD display (which facilitates the identification of protocols and programming) and a transport case. The equipment must be used with coupling gel. The wavelength of 1MHz reaches an approximate depth of 5 cm and the wavelength of 3 MHz reaches a depth in the tissue of approximately 1 to 2 cm. The equipment must be used only under prescription and supervision of a licensed professional.
