Sonopulse Compact 3 MHz is therapeutic ultrasound microcontrolled equipment designed for aesthetic and physical rehabilitation treatments. It presents a transducer with ERA (Effective Radiation Area) of 7 cm2, frequency of 3 MHz and maximum power output of 21 W. The ultrasound emission mode can be adjusted to continuous or pulsed; the pulsed mode offers a pulse repetition frequency of 100 Hz, 48 Hz or 16 Hz and pulse ratio of 50% and 20%.
It also presents an inlet for combined therapy, 20 pre-programmed protocols and 20 private protocols, a transport case, a Blue Light LCD display and soft touch keys.
The equipment must be used only under prescription and supervision of a licensed professional.
Immediate post-operative (inflammatory control and pain);
Late post-operative (tissue fibrosis);
Reduction of edema;

Must not be used for relief of local symptomatic pain without known etiology, unless a pain syndrome is diagnosed;
Over neoplastic areas or areas where a tumor was removed;
Over the eyes;
Over ischemic areas, where blood supply may be unable to supply the metabolic demand and result in necrosis;
Over bone epiphyses still in growth;
Implanted electronic device (ex.: cardiac pacemaker, deep brain stimulation device etc.);
Over areas previously treated with radiotherapy;
Over the gonads to avoid heating.
