Description

Overview
SirYus is a multiplex immunoassay platform designed to process 4 to 200 tests per run from a minimized biological sample volume. The system is based on ELISA-standard materials and automated procedures to support multiplex diagnostic workflows for in vitro diagnostics (IVD).

Core technology
SirYus relies on a controlled surface functionalization process using polymeric bonding agents composed of a polysaccharide backbone bearing aromatic and carboxylic acid groups. The method uses standard ELISA reagents and materials adapted to multiplex formats.

Process steps
  • STEP 1: Surface functionalization and printing
  • STEP 2: Kit assembly and packaging
  • STEP 3: 'ELISA-LIKE' bioassay processing
  • STEP 4: Readout

Patented surface functionalization
The SirYus advance is based on a patented process to functionalize plastic substrates for analyte detection. Functionalization is performed on polymer substrates with tailored chemical groups to enable reliable probe immobilization and multiplexing.

Performance and reproducibility
SirYus is effective for detecting small molecules, large proteins and captured cells. The process delivers reproducible results (close to 90% reproducibility) and includes internal controls to support clear screening and diagnostic interpretation.

Scalability and supply
The platform is compatible with automated production steps from plate functionalization to chip packaging. Several SirYus-based diagnostic kits are produced and distributed. Reagents and raw materials are commonly available to minimize supplier dependency; functionalization agents are used in small amounts and synthesized via a standard chemical protocol.

Compatibility and implementation
SirYus adapts to various plastic substrates and integrates with established laboratory workstations, facilitating implementation in existing workflows.
