Free DNA Fetal RhD® kit
Fetal rhd genotyping kit from maternal blood
Based on the free circulating fetal DNA ("cff DNA") present since the 7th SA in the maternal blood, our kit allows the early diagnosis (11th SA) of the fetal rhesus in the context of an Rh- pregnancy.
Reimbursed by the French health fund, already adopted by many European countries, this test performed on a simple sample of maternal blood can avoid unnecessary injections of anti-D immunoglobulins and reduce the follow-up of RhD- pregnancies.
It is prescribed by gynecologists and midwives and performed by accredited laboratories.
- Marked CE IVD:
The Free DNA Fetal RhD®Kit is the first labeled fetal RHD genotyping kit meeting the European regulatory requirements and the Public Health Code (DMDIV label CE / IVD).
Extraction of the DNA from the blood plasma, and the amplification of exons 5,7 & 10 of the RHD gene are validated on the most commonly used automata.
- Test refunded in France:
Recommended by the CNGOF since 2006 and the HAS since 2011, the RHD fetal genotyping test is registered with the NABM and 100% funded by the CNAM since July 2017.
The molecular biology kit proposed by our Institute includes all the necessary elements, except the TAQ polymerase.
It is exclusively dedicated to the determination of fetal RHD and does not allow any other diagnosis such as the sex of the fetus for example.
It allows to perform 87 tests with the "simplex" version, 84 tests with the "duplex" one.
