Reagents for blood grouping in tube plate technique for identification of ABO blood group characteristics.
Each ABO group determination has two complementary tests:
- The globular test which consists of looking for antigens A and B with reagents anti-A, anti-B, anti-AB.
- The plasma test which consists of looking for the natural anti-A and anti-B antibodies with A1 and B red blood cells, and possibly A2 and O.
