Titanium compression screw diameter 3.0 mm. Totally intra-osseous implant. Large range of size: 10 to 34 mm by 2 mm increment. K-Wire guided drilling and screwing. Self-tapping. True & Controlled compression. In order to optimize compression, the head has to be totally embedded. Material: Titanium alloy TIAl6V4, ISO 5832-3 ASTM F136. INDICATIONS The Bold screw is indicated for fixation of bone fractures or for bone reconstruction. Fixation of small bone fragments. Arthrodesis in foot surgery. Mono or bi-cortical osteotomies in the foot. Distal or proximal metatarsal osteotomies. Fixation of osteotomies for Hallux Valgus treatment (such as Scarf, Chevron, etc.). OTHER POSSIBLE INDICATIONS Arthrodesis in hand surgery. Mono or bi-cortical osteotomies in the hand. Distal or proximal metacarpal osteotomies.
