p-Chip® is the first identification transponder compatible with common imaging techniques, including scanner and Echo Mri. p-Chip® transmits a unique number via a radio signal when it is activated by the laser light of the reader. These are part of a powerful integrated system used to identify laboratory mice and other small animals (zebrafish, ants, bees, insects, etc.) during breeding, research and clinical trials, and enables chain-of-custody tracking.
