Artificial insemination (AI) in swine production is an efficient method to achieve good fertility results. Fresh semen doses are collected and distributed regularly to ensure optimal capability of sperm. maXipig® activates fresh semen doses increasing semen resistance and improving both, fertility and prolificacy. maXipig® is a patented boar semen light activation system, applying a specific pattern of red-LED based light in an air refrigerated chamber.
